SARGODHA, Sep 30::The kids nutrition week will start here on October 1 (Monday).
Focal Person health Dr Tariq Saleem on Sunday said during the campaign more than 119,330 children of six years to 19 years would be provided nutritional requirements.
It was an important programme for health of children and all out efforts were being made to make the campaign a success, he said and added that officials concerned had also been directed to play their role for provision of nutritional awareness among the children.
He said that during the week, diagnostic of kids,their weight, height and physical growth would be judged while all nutritional requirements would also be ensured at all health centres.
The children would be provided free protein dose by the department concerned, he said adding that mothers will also be provided necessary medicines.
