Assistant Professor Dr. Jahan Akbar,  won International Commission for Optics Gallieno Denardo Award 2018

MANSEHRA, Oct 21(APP)::Assistant Professor Dr. Jahan Akbar, Department of Physics Hazara University Manshera Sunday won International Commission for Optics Gallieno Denardo Award 2018.

Dr. Jehan Akbar won the award for his research on Laser and Amplifier.

KP Higher Education Department Khyber Phaktunkhawa has also approved Rs. 3.2 million for research due to successes achieved by Dr. Jehan in field of physics.

Dr. Jehan Akbar said that grant would be utilized to establish world’s third and Pakistan’s first Optical Photo Thermal Spectroscopy Laboratory in Hazara University that would not only benefit students, researchers but would also help them to study this new branch of physics in the country.
