Peshawar-Rashakai Motorway section closed due to dense fog

 Peshawar: Peshawar-Rashakai Motorway section (M1) was closed for all kind of traffic on Sunday due to dense fog. Dense fog engulfed different areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as the visibility was very low, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) spokesperson informed. According to PMD, very cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during next 24 hours. The Motorway police have advised the drivers to switch on fog lights while driving at very slow speed as the visibility was dropped to zero metres due to dense fog. The Motorway police have also requested the people to stay home and avoid unnecessary travelling as visibility was down to zero metres due to heavy fog.
