Zulfi urges Sindh CM to quit
Lahore: Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari on Sunday demanded the resignation of Sindh Chief Minister Sayed Murad Ali Shah. In a tweeter message Zulfi Bukhari wrote, “While only landgrabbers/thieves/mafia come to Zardari Cartel’s rescue, a new LOW was reached by Murad Ali Shah when held accountable for his corruption. Shame on him for being a blind servant trying to justify his loyalty by stooping so low without any respect for.” In another tweet he added, “his own family name. Before acting worse than scum defending Zardari-the criminal who’s own wife had disowned him & resorting to personal attacks, he should think if the same was reciprocated. Resignation should be the least of his options!” Meanwhile, the top leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to increase political pressure on Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah for his resignation after his name was added to the Exit Control List (ECL). In this regard, Prime Minister Imran Khan, in a telephonic conversation, spoke to Grand Democratic Alliance’s (GDA) Member of National Assembly (MNA) Sardar Ali Gohar Mahar regarding current political situation in the country, and subsequently tasked Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary to achieve consensus among influential politicians of Sindh. The Information Minister is expected to head for consultative meetings with leaders of the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in Karachi, Badin, Sukkur and Larkana on Monday. The information minister called Murad Ali Shah as the primary suspect in findings of the report by Joint Investigation Team (JIT) in the fake accounts money laundering case.
