Imprisonment improves my reputation: Zardari
Karachi: Former president Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday said imprisonment improves his reputation. During his address to the public gathering in Badin, Zardari said that he, his daughter Aseefa Bhutto and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari were determined to accomplish mission of slain PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto. He said that the government has been lodging several cases against PPP leaders but such cases could not influence his eminence in politics. PPP leader Sharjeel Memon had won election while he was in jail which proved that our supporters are always there to support BB’s mission, he said. He criticized the government for formulating ineffective policies, and said that the PPP was already aware that the bureaucracy was incapable for development and prosperity of the country. He asserted that the PPP was determined to work for the underprivileged class of the country.
