PPP slams govt for ignoring SC order on travel ban
Islamabad: Secretary Information Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) Dr Nafisa Shah Thursday said that despite the Supreme Court’s orders regarding removal of Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah’s names from the Exit Control List (ECL), the government of Prime Minister Imran Khan had failed to implement this judgment. The failure of the government in complying with the Supreme Court’s orders is concerning as it exposes PM select’s biased conduct, she said. “It is crystal clear that Special Assistant to PM Shehzad Akbar drafted the Joint Investigation Team report and has brought shame to the institution by doing so, she stated. It is apparent that PM Imran Khan is threatened by Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s growing popularity in the people and is using anti-democratic means to maintain his position,” she said. Nafisa Shah said that government was using accountability and ECL as political tools against opposition.
