PPP will not remain silent against injustice: Nafisa Shah
Islamabad: Secretary Information Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians Dr Nafisa Shah on Thursday said the PPP will not remain silent against injustice. In a statement, she criticized the transferring of the fake accounts trial against PPP co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari from Karachi to Rawalpindi. Nafisa Shah said Rawalpindi had not been kind to PPP in the past as Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was sent to the gallows in Rawalpindi and cases were heard against Benazir Bhutto in the same city. She said that a wrong message was being sent out to the provinces which can result in severe consequences. She said there were cases of fake accounts in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhaw as well but it seemed that the federal government had turned a blind eye to the areas where Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf is leading the provincial governments.
