PPP has sacrificed more than any party: Qari Farooq Ahmed

Paris: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) France leader Qari Farooq Ahmed Saturday said that the PPP had sacrificed for the country more than any other party.

In a statement, he said Zulfikar Ali Bhutto sacrificed his life but did not compromise on principles.

The PPP leader expressed the resolve to remain steadfast on the principles of respect for humans and liberty and to follow the slogan of all powers to the people.

Qari Farooq Ahmed said that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto rebuilt the country which had been turned into ashes before he came to power. He gave the nation strength and gave voice to the downtrodden masses, he added.

He said Bhutto loved his country especially the lower stratum of the society and accepted gallows but never left his people. “PPP will continue to work according to its founder’s ideology and will continue to resist the anti-democratic elements in the country. The PPP will fulfill every dream of its founder,” he said.

Qari Farooq Ahmed said Benazir Bhutto also sacrificed her life in the line of duty. “Since then Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have led the PPP well. The PPP will soon return to power with the support of the people,” he added.
