Blast on railway track kills two in Naseerabad

At least four people have been killed and twelve others injured in a remote-controlled bomb blast at a rail track, targetting Jaffar Express in Rabbi Kenal Area of Dera Murad Jamali today.

According to police sources, the explosion damaged the railway track and four bogies of the train went off the track.

Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad says targeting trains and passengers is a dastardly act of terrorists that needs to be condemned. In a statement, he said the state will deal with terrorists with iron hands.
Sheikh Rashid patrolling of rail tracks will be made effective in cooperation with law enforcing agencies.
