Youth’s role important for country’s future: COAS

Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa says youth has an important role to play in every field as they are the future leadership.

He was talking to a group of students from US Cornell University who called on him in Rawalpindi on Saturday.

Army Chief shared his thoughts about Pakistan and its journey to enduring peace.

Referring to vibrant youth of Pakistan, Chief of Army staff credited successes in war against terror to the bravery and motivation of the junior leadership besides their contributions to national progress on the whole as part of the nation.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, students shared experience of their visit to Pakistan during the meeting and said Pakistan is a beautiful and peaceful country.

Students visited Lahore, Hunza valley, Parliament house and Islamabad during the visit.

Students on the occasion thanked General Qamar Javed Bajwa and said that they are taking back home with the first hand reality about peaceful and beautiful Pakistan.
