Govt. will be sent packing: Zardari
Islamabad: Former president Asif Zardari has said the opposition will send the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led government packing.
He said the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) does not want to derail democracy in the country. He said we will definitely send this government packing.
Talking to media outside the parliament house, the PPP leader said chairman senate “did not listen to us so he must go home.”
He said even speaker is not independent, adding that no one should damage the country. He said in his government there was an IMF agreement but on “our conditions and only finance minister used to meet IMF delegations.”
He said this government was running on the conditions of IMF. He said Senate chairman Sadiq Sanjarani did not do anything for people of Baluchistan and only enjoyed trips along with others.
He said the All Parties Conference (APC) of opposition was successful and people would soon get good news. He said he did not care about the cases against him. Zardari said viewing the situation of economy it is clear that PTI does not care about poor of the country.
He criticized PM Imran Khan for not receiving Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, adding that PM received the heads of other friendly countries.
Asif Zardari said he hoped that this government will do something for people of Baluchistan but PM has no idea about the issues of this backward province.
He said they definitely want to end this government’s rule but not on the cost of democracy. He said Akhter Maingel has his own vote bank and he can do whatever he wants.
Zardari said he wants that courts must investigate him in all cases that is why he backtracked from bails.
