Sanjrani, Mandviwala survive no-confidence vote
Islamabad: Senate Thursday rejected the no confidence resolutions moved against Chairman Senate Sadiq
Sanjrani and Deputy Chairman Saleem Mandviwala as these failed to secure the required fifty three votes.
The no confidence against the Chairman was moved by the opposition parties and fifty Senators voted in favour of it.
The no confidence against the Deputy Chairman was moved by the treasury benches and thirty-two Senators
voted in favor of it. The House was later prorogued.
