9th of Muharram observed with due solemnity, sanctity

Islamabad: The 9th of Muharram was observed throughout the country on Monday with due solemnity and sanctity to pay homage to the sacrifice rendered by Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions in Karbala.

Taazia and Zuljanah processions were taken out in different parts of the country in memory of martyrs of Karbala.

Ulema and Zakireen shed light on the bright and candid teachings of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his great companions.

The main procession of Taazia and Zuljinah in Islamabad was taken out from Markazi Imambargah G-6/2.

In Lahore, the major Zuljinnah Ziyarat and mourning procession taken out from the Pandu Street, Islampura.

In Karachi, the main procession of 9th Muharram-ul-Haram was taken out from Nishtar Park.

In Peshawar, the main procession of 9th Muharram was taken out from Imambargah Hussainia Hall, Peshawar Saddar.

The procession ms after passing through traditional route terminated on the starting points.
