No evidence against Zardari: Bilawal Bhutto
Rawalpindi: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that despite dozens of references filed against Asif Ali Zardari only one case has been filed after JIT and so much commotion for the last one year and that case too is not being tried properly.
There is no evidence with the government or the NAB and they are still carrying out media trial, he added.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was talking to media outside NAB court after the hearing of the case against President Zardari and Ms. Faryal Talpur. He was flanked by his party leaders.
They are trying to pressurize us by false accusations but President Zardari has been imprisoned for eleven and a half years without any conviction and he is still ready to bear their pressure and heavy handed tactics.
Zardari will not compromise his ideology and principles like before and PPP will continue its democratic struggle. They can put as much pressure as they want and arrest as many leaders and workers but the PPP will not compromise on 1973 Constitution and the 18th Amendment.
The “selected and the selectors” are worried because the PPP is not allowing them to roll back the 18th Amendment and surrender the rights of province Sindh.
Everyone has seen how Imran Khan and his government has been exposed in front of the people. The person who used to talk about justice and rule of law has not only arrested his political opponents but their women as well.
He promised to provide 10 million jobs but he has made thousands of young people unemployed in one year. He had also promised to construct five million houses but has raised million of houses to the ground and has not provided a single house.
This government is a liar and a hypocrite government which has usurped the economic and democratic rights of the people. This government has made the parliament redundant and the people are drowning in the tsunami of price hike and have been pushed in the quagmire of taxes.
The business community is so much worried that it approached Chief of Army Staff yesterday saying that their businesses are in trouble. This has said a very bad precedence that tomorrow everyone will go to Army Chief instead of the Prime Minister for their problems.
He said it was unfortunate that PM Imran Khan had undermined the Parliament and has stopped from working and people’s problems are not heard and solved in Parliament, production orders of MNAs are not issued and we are forced to go to streets for solving people’s problems.
“The same thing I had discussed with Maulana Fazalur Rehman yesterday and all political parties are saying that this government has come to power as a result of rigged elections and this government will have to go packing. Maulana Fazalur Rehman announced 27th October for his azadi march and dharna in Islamabad so we have also called our party meeting to deliberate how can we help Maulana Fazalur Rehman,” he said.
