PPP demands compensation for growers

Islamabad: Secretary Information Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians Dr. Nafisa Shah has said that the entire focus of the government of PM Imran Khan is on crushing the opposition whereas his cronies after creating wheat and sugar crisis are minting money.

Dr. Shah in a statement has said that Asif Ali Zardari had warned a year ago speaking in National Assembly about the threat of locust and had demanded spray by the government but this inefficient government remained unmoved and now growers are losing their crops. Locust has caused havoc in three provinces namely Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab.

She demanded compensation for growers whose crops have destroyed so that they can prepare for the next crop.
