Italy: Milan Linate airport to reopen on July 13
Milan: Milan’s Linate airport will reopen from July 13 Italy’s transport ministry has announced, following a closure of four months due to the covid-19 crisis.
The reopening date is two days earlier than previously announced by the ministry, reports Italian news agency ANSA.
Currently in Milan, Terminal 1 at Malpensa airport is open, in addition to Bergamo – Orio al Serio, also known as Milan-Bergamo airport.
Rome’s Ciampino airport resumes scheduled flights
Linate underwent a €150 million programme of repair and reconstruction works last year, which saw the airport closed for three months.
