Syed Zahid Abbas Shah fears major crisis due to govt’s attitude
Frankfurt: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Germany President Syed Zahid Abbas Shah on Sunday said that the deteriorating state of the country, the economic downturn and the government’s attitude could be a precursor to a major crisis.
“Now there is no barrier and there is no room for doubt as to where and how the issues are to be resolved. Therefore, it is patriotic to settle matters and not to be stubborn as it is stupidity and it can cause great trouble, especially if it is a matter of national integrity and sensitivity,” he said in a statement.
Syed Zahid Abbas Shah said the leaders and heads of state were always open-hearted and not short-sighted. “They are always ready to talk to the biggest opponents, keeping in mind the nature of the problems. And there should be no impediment to dialogue on these national issues. The solution to the current situation is only and exclusively in dialogue, which if delayed will lead to more confusion and then the matter will reach the point from where it may take decades for solution and the country and the nation cannot afford it,” he said.
Being a patriot, the PPP leader said: “I am presenting these humble points . May it reach out to someone in power and position to solve the problem.”
