Only cowards fear prison: PPP

Islamabad: No politician is ever frightened from going to prison because in the struggle for the restoration of democracy real politicians have been going to prison and have always come out as a victor.

This was said by the PPP MNA Nawabzada Iftikhar Khan, the son of a great democrat Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan who struggled against despotic rules in the country.

Nawabzada said that coward Imran Khan does not have a clue about the zeal and fervor with which a political worker comes out on the streets to fight fascists and tyrants.

“It is honor for real politicians to go to prison for a just cause. No one ever shied away from going to prison from Zulfikar Ali Bhutto to Benazir Bhutto, from Asif Ali Zardari to Nawabzada Nasurullah Khan. Brave leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari cannot be cowed down by such threats,” he said.

Nawabzada said that Imran Khan is a coward because he jumped the wall to avoid arrest. He said that Pakistan Democratic Movement is struggling for rule of constitution and a sovereign parliament.

“People of Pakistan have a history of gallantry against dictators. The police and civil administration themselves have become sick of this government,” Nawabzada Iftikhar concluded.
