Bilawal Bhutto says GB people own rivers, mountains

Islamabad: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that People of Gilgit Biltistan have the right on the rivers and mountains of Gilgit Biltistan.

This is the reason I always talk about the rights of property. I want to give the people of Gilgit Biltistan the right to property and the minerals of these areas .
He said this while addressing a corner meeting at Goharabad in connection with the PPP’s campaign for elections 2020. The candidate from constituency-1 Diyamir, Bashir Ahmed Khan, Syed Nayer Hussain Bukhari, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Dr. Nafisa Shah, Hassna Murtaza, Shaheen Kausar Dar and Saadia Danish were also present on the occasion.

He said that the benefits of Diyamir Bhasha Dam should be given to the local people first as well as the share in the employment like the way the PPP has given to local people their rights in Thar. Chairman PPP said that just because this opportunity of jobs and employments, President Asif Ali Zardari had initiated CPEC. He wanted that people of backword areas like GB, FATA and Gawadar should get the fruits of CPEC.

He said that the PPP always worked for the people and the relations between the PPP and GB goes back three generations. He said that the people of GB supported Shaheed Zulafikar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and President Asif Ali Zardari in the past. Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto ended FCR and Rajgeri system, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto introduced democracy and allowed the political parties to function in GB, President Asif Ali Zardari gave GB an assembly, the first Governor and Chief Minister in GB and 25000 jobs to the youth of GB. Now, I ask you to give the PPP heavy mandate so that it can give you the full-fledged status of a province, the right to rule, the right the property and the right to employment. He said that on 15th November, a peoples government farmed in GB and soon Peoples Party is also farmed a government Pakistan.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari promised to give Benazir labour card to the people of GB like it has given it to laborers in Sindh. He said that PPP is also established free hospitals in every district of GB. He said that the selected Prime Minister Imran Khan has destroyed the country in the name of change. Today every section of society is on the streets protesting against this puppet and selected government. He said that when growers came out protesting this government baton charges them and torture them. One grower Ashfaq Langrial last his life from this torture.

He said that the PPP always looks after the poor people of Pakistan and increases salaries of government employees so that the people do not face economic hardships when there will be a PPP government it will increased the salaries and pension of employees. He also promised increase in BISP so that every women gets more money for here expenses and women should also be able to get their economic rights.
