IT & Telecom Ministry lauds NTC’s remarkable performance under Viqar Rashid Khan

Islamabad: Ministry of IT & Telecom has lauded remarkable performance of National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) under Viqar Rashid Khan for providing excellent services to consumers.

The IT Ministry had recently conducted a survey to gauge NTC’s performance, in which 72% expressed satisfaction.

“The ministry of IT and it’s all department’s remarkable performance speaks itself,” said the IT ministry in a tweet.

Earlier, NTC chairman Viqar Rashid Khan had said that even during the COVID-19 Pandemic – when every department was demanding special funds to fight against Pandemic – the NTC earned profit of Rs 578million in financial year 2019-20.

The NTC managed to complete 100 percent Annual Development Plan (ADP) during financial year 2019-20, which is a record in the public sector.

NTC is probably one of the few Federal level Organizations to have recovered from a loss-making entity to a profitable and an efficient forward looking Organization.
