PPP rejects Justice Azmat Saeed as the head of inquiry committee on Broadsheet

Islamabad Secretary Information Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians, Shazia Atta Marri along with the Deputy Chairman Senate Saleem Mandviwala held a press conference in Islamabad and said that the federal government has totally failed to give any relief to the people instead increasing the troubles of the common citizens.

Shazia Marri said that the government has increased power tariff about 15 times since it has been imposed on the people of Pakistan. She said that the government has succumbed before the IMF and accepting every condition by the IMF. Shazia said that the people are not in a mood to give any more time to this selected government. Shazia Marri condemned torture on students in Lahore and initiation of cases against 500 students.

The secretary information PPPP said that the government on one hand failed to provide any relief to the people and on the other wants to usurp three hospitals in Sindh which are providing health facilities to the people free of cost. The government has destroyed PIMS and the employees are protesting in Islamabad. She said that the foreign minister is not serious in doing his job and wants to run the parliament. The ruling party, PTI has got illegal foreign funding and the case is in the ECP for the last nearly 7 years. She said that mafias are running the house of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Shazia Atta Marri said that the PPP rejects the one man inquiry committee headed by former Justice Azmat Saeed. People in general have rejected him as the head of inquiry committee.

Deputy Chairman Senate Saleem Mandviwala addressing the press conference said that the PPP has submitted its response in the ECP and there is no foreign funding for the party. Now there is no case of foreign funding against the PPP.
