NTC senior Director Muhammad Umar Farooq passes away
Islamabad: NTC lost its Senior Director Mr. Muhammad Umer Farooq who passed away after seven-month battle with multiple organ disease. His Namaz-e-Janazah was offered in Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi where large number of NTC and Arid University employees where present. Later on, he was buried in his native village in Dera Ghazi Khan. Mr. Umer Farooq survived by his wife, and three children.
National Telecommunication Corporations management expressed great sorrow & grief and extends heartfelt condolences to his family. Talking to the family members, Managing Director NTC Mr. Miraj Gul said: “Mr. Umer Farooq was a dutiful, hardworking and honest officer throughout his career and performed his duties by working very hard and with honesty, his death is a great loss, we greatly value the services of Mr. Umer Farooq for the Corporation. In this moment of grief and sorrow we are with the bereaved family. May Allah mercy on his soul and grant him the highest rank in Jannah.” A prayer & commemoration ceremony was also held at NTC HQ’s and all Regional offices, where all employees prayed for his Maghfira.
