PPP AJK leaders called on Bilawal Bhutto in Islamabad

Islamabad: President Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Latif Akbar and opposition leader of AJK Assembly Chaudhry Yasin called on Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Zardari House Islamabad on Monday. Former Prime Minister, Raja Pervez Ashraf was also present on the occasion.

PPP AJK leaders briefed the Chairman PPP about the political situation in the Valley. They informed the Chairman PPP that the workers of the party are determined to win the coming elections. 

 Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the PTI federal government wants to postpone AJK elections as it has failed to get candidates for elections. He said that AJK is a stronghold of the PPP. Chairman Bilawal directed to run a full-fledged campaign for free and fair elections in AJK. He said that the PPP candidates will win the elections in AJK by a huge margin.

President and General Secretary PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Humayun Khan and Shazi Khan respectively also called on the Chairman PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Zardari House Islamabad on Monday.  

PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa officials apprised the Chairman PPP of the political situation in the province. They discussed Party’ organizational matters in the province as well as the issues regarding next local body elections in the KP province. 

Chairman Bilawal directed the PPP KP office bearers to stay in touch with party workers who have sacrificed for ideology of the party and have remained steadfast in difficult times. He also directed the office bearers to make full preparations for the coming local body elections.
