Gwadar: China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority chief Lt General Asim Saleem Bajwa (retd) on Monday reviewed the progress of work on CPEC projects in Gwadar.

Bajwa arrived in the morning on a one-day visit.in the city. During his visit, Asim Saleem Bajwa reviewed the projects under the CPEC, said an official statement.

Bajwa expressed satisfaction with the progress of work and directed to remove any hurdle in smooth working.

Earlier on May 26, the Chairman CPEC visited the Challenge Textile Factory in Lahore -established with Chinese investment of US$ 150 million- wherein he also talked to media saying that US$ 13 billion have been invested in Pakistan under the CPEC while another US$ 12 billion investment is in the pipeline.

Bajwa said that more economic zones were being established under the CPEC which would bring more Chinese investment in Pakistan and provide all possible facilities to foreign investors.
