Bilawal Bhutto to lead election campaign in AJK
Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) central leader and National Assembly member Faryal Talpur has said that PPP will form a government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir with a historic victory. For this, it is necessary that the activists of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto start the election campaign with enthusiasm. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will soon visit Azad Jammu and Kashmir and will lead the election campaign himself.
On Sunday at Zardari House, LA-34 Jammu 1 Sardar Zahid Iqbal Advocate along with his colleagues left PTI and joined PPP while Ishtiaq Ahmad Bukhari also joined PPP on this occasion.
A delegation of 40 workers including Sardar Zahid Iqbal Advocate and Ishtiaq Ahmad Bukhari called on Ms. Faryal Talpur. The delegation was comprised of Sardar Zafar Iqbal, Raja Saad Mehmood Bhatti, Malik Muhammad Saleem, Haji Muhammad Ayub, Chaudhry Muhammad Rafiq, Abdul Majeed Bhatti, Sardar Yahya Khan, Chaudhry Afzal Jutt, Sardar Ishtiaq, Chaudhry Khan Muhammad, Chaudhry Muhammad Sakhi, Chaudhry Mumtaz, Sardar Farooq, Chaudhry Saleem Jutt, Chaudhry Raheel Jutt, Sardar Muhammad Azeem Khan, Rana Muhammad Shafiq, Mahmudul Hassan, Chaudhry Pervez, Sardar Abrar, Zaheer Abbas, Nadeem Akhtar, Chaudhry Hameed, Muhammad Mukhtar, Zaheer Abbas, Waheed Inqalabi, Fakhr Zaman Gulpara, Asif Mitra, Azhar Gilani, Javed Behdanvi, Chaudhry Ashraf Shahid, Shaheen Dar, Shaukat Ali Mir, Sahibzada Zulfiqar Ali, Waqar Ahmed and Nisar Ahmed.
PPP Secretary General Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, PPP Azad Kashmir General Secretary Faisal Mumtaz Rathore and Sardar Ayub were also present on the occasion. Addressing the delegation, Ms. Talpur said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is the only political leader who is raising his voice for a referendum on the demands of Kashmiris. She said that just as Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and President Asif Ali Zardari did not disappoint the Kashmiris, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto would also not disappoint the Kashmiris.
Ms. Faryal Talpur said that time has proved that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s stance on Modi was realistic. The Kashmir issue will be resolved. Imran Khan should apologize to the nation for his statement. Ms. Faryal Talpur said that the freedom of the people of Occupied Kashmir is their basic and democratic right. India cannot maintain its aggressive occupation of occupied Kashmir for long. Ms. Faryal Talpur said that like Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, President Asif Ali Zardari also had a clear position on Kashmir.
She said that Kashmir cause has been the main pillar of Pakistan’s foreign policy of the PPP government. It is unfortunate that the parties in power for the last eight years have not given importance to Kashmir cause. No one made a foreign minister; someone made a foreign minister who was sitting in Multan or Islamabad during Modi’s aggression on Kashmir, even though the president, prime minister and foreign minister used to make stormy tours around the world and all over the country. Ms. Faryal Talpur urged the party workers to go to the streets and to their neighborhoods to inform about the performance of the PPP governments and the performance of the governments of other parties.
