Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday condemned the un-parliamentary conduct of the government during the last session of the National Assembly.

Chairman PPP also called out the public representatives for misbehaving in the parliament and tarnishing the honour of the house.

In a statement, the PPP Chairman called out the Prime Minister and his government for raising a ruckus to conceal the flaws of the federal budget.

“It is evident the Prime Minister wants to cover up his incompetence by supporting and encouraging abusive language and the indecent conduct of his members,” declared Bilawal.

Highlighting how unfitting such conduct is while discussing public legislative issues, Chairman PPP stated that such a non-serious attitude is a deplorable tradition to be set in the Parliament.

“The Government Parliamentarians have violated the sanctity of the House by adopting a shameful and intolerable attitude in the Parliament,” asserted Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

The PPP Chairman also stated that such behaviour needs to be denounced, and members must set a good example in the Assembly if they care about issues pertaining to the nation’s future. “Members have to perform their duties in the House instead of turning the Parliament into a battlefield ,” concluded Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Meanwhile, Bilawal attended a joint meeting of the opposition in the opposition lobby of the Parliament House. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was accompanied by Leader of the Opposition Shahbaz Sharif and other parliamentary leaders of the opposition.

The joint opposition meeting discussed the rude behavior of government members and a joint opposition strategy. It has been proposed in the joint meeting of the opposition to bring a no-confidence motion against National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser.

Talking to the journalists in the Parliament, Chairman Bilawal said that such violence has never been done by treasury benches in history. The speaker of the assembly played the role of a facilitator in the whole debacle.
