Zardari condemns attack on Latif Akbar

Islamabad: Former President of Pakistan and the President Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians, Asif Ali Zardari has condemned the assassination attempt on President PPP, Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Latif Akbar and asked the Chief Election Commissioner Azad Kashmir to take concrete steps regarding the security of Chaudhry Latif Akbar who is also a PPP candidate from LA-31 Muzaffarabad.

The former president said that Chaudhry Latif Akbar has been attacked twice which is very worrying. The election campaign of PPP candidates is being hampered. In order to make the elections in Azad Kashmir free and fair, the Chief Election Commissioner should take practical steps and address the grievances of Chaudhry Latif Akbar.
