Ring Road scandal has exposed accountability: Shazia Marri

Islamabad: Central Information Secretary Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) and member of the National Assembly Shazia Atta Marri has said that Rawalpindi Ring Road scandal has exposed insidious accountability of the PTI government.

She said that the clean chit given to PTI’s Zulfi Bukhari, Usman Buzdar and Ghulam Sarwar Khan is a slap in the face of so-called accountability.

Shazia Marri said that it is remained to be observed that weather the notice of Rawalpindi Ring Road would be taken or not,” Ms Marri said that the investigation against Zulfi Bukhari, Usman Buzdar and Ghulam Sarwar Khan in Rawalpindi Ring Road scandal has been wrapped up in PTI flag.

She further added that the message is being sent to bureaucracy by targeting the uninvolved bureaucrats in the Rawalpindi Ring Road corruption scandal and it proves that the so-called accountability is the political agenda of this incompetent government.

Shazia Marri has said that incompetent government of PTI has taken a cruel decision by increasing prices of petroleum products which will lead people to bear the economic woes and worries.

She said PPP highly condemns this anti-people act of the government and demanded its immediate withdrawal. Shazia Marri said that incompetent PTI government will soon collapse into a monstrous tsunami of inflation and the financial facilitators of the selected Prime Minister are deciding the petrol prices.

Marri said today’s price hike in petrol products has been announced by the one of the secretary of the Niazi Empire and now, motorcycle owner will travel on bicycle besides it, increasing petrol prices will also increase fares. She further said that Imran Khan & Company has become an unbearable burden for the country and the people.
