Pakistan wishes to connect CPEC with European Union: Information Minister

Badin: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said that Pakistan wishes to connect China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) with the European Union (EU).
Speaking to the journalists at the Badin Press Club, the minister said by connecting CPEC with EU, economic activity in the region will get a major boost. He said: “This is only possible if there is peace in Afghanistan. Pakistan wishes to connect CPEC with the European Union.”
Fawad Chaudhry said CPEC had become an essential part of Pakistan’s progress and the projects under this mega plan will be given adequate security. “We want Pakistan to grow with CPEC. China has always stood by us. CPEC is a matchless plan,” he added. Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Dr Fehmida Mirza was also present.
The Minister said Prime Minister Imran Khan had earlier suggested former Afghan President Ashraf Ghani to form an inclusive government. He said “we will now suggest Taliban to form an inclusive government.”
