Outgoing FIEDMC chief’s services for CPEC lauded
Islamabad: Outgoing Chairman Faisalabad Industrial Estate and Development Company (FIEDMC) Mian Kashif Ashfaq’s services for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and trade were lauded.
The FIEDMC is a mega project under the CPEC. Prime Minister Imran Khan had performed its ground breaking in January 3 last year. Mian Kashif Ashfaq served for 3 years as the Chairman FIEDMC from 2018-21.
During his tenure, the CPEC Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Faisalabad grew rapidly and numerous industrial units were established by foreign and local investors because business friendly policies had started yielding positive economic impact on national economy.
Mian Kashif Ashfaq stepped down as the Chairman FIEDMC Sunday due to his pressing personal engagements.
President Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nasser Hyatt Magoo and Chairman Businessman Penal Anjum Nisar Sunday paid tribute to the meritorious services by Mian Kashif Ashfaq.
Congratulating Mian Kashif Ashfaq on successful completion of three years as FIEDMC chief, both the trade leaders said credit goes to him for the entire rapid development taking place in CPEC’s state of the art Allama Iqbal Industrial City.
