Bilawal Bhutto meets Chinese, British, US envoys
Islamabad: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) arrived in Islamabad on Friday and spent a busy day holding important meetings with the British High Commissioner, the US Charge d’affaires and Chinese ambassador.
The British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Christian Turner called on Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Zardari House, Islamabad on Friday. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and British High Commissioner Christian Turner discussed bilateral relations.
Chairman PPP and British High Commissioner Christian Turner discussed in detail the changing situation in Afghanistan. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was briefed by British High Commissioner Christian Turner on his visit to Sindh. Chairman Bilawal welcomed British High Commissioner Christian Turner’s visit to Sindh.
The United States Charge d’affaires Angela Aggeler also called on Chairman Pakistan People Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Islamabad on Friday. They discussed bilateral issues with particular focus on the developing situation in Afghanistan.
Ms. Aggeler intimated the Chairman of her plans to visit Sindh. Chairman PPP welcomed her visit, and assured her that it would be a memorable visit, given the great hospitality of the people of Sindh.
Later in the evening Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong called on Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Zardari House. In the meeting with Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong discussed long and lasting Pak-China friendship. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong also discussed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. Chairman PPP and Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong also discussed the situation in Afghanistan.
