PPP, SPD aim a discrimination-free world: Syed Zahid Abbas Shah
Frankfurt: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Germany President Syed Zahid Abbas Shah said on Thursday that the PPP, together with the Social Democratic Party (SPD) of Germany was aiming for a world where there is no discrimination.
He thanked the PPP office bearers and workers in Germany for voting for SPD in the elections on his call. “I had asked the PPP friends to vote for SPD as the PPP has an international alliance with the SPD. The party companions obliged,” he said in a statement.
Syed Zahid Abbas Shah said back home in Pakistan he expected that the PPP will sweep the next elections. He said the PPP’s first responsibility was also the provision of employment opportunities to people.
Syed Zahid Abbas Shah maintained that Prime Minister Imran Khan had failed to live up to any promise made in the elections. He said Pakistan was facing record poverty and unemployment for the last three years.
