CPEC dreams to come true: Pakistani NSA
Islamabad: Pakistani National Security Adviser (NSA) Dr Moeed Yusuf has said that dreams related to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would come true.
NSA also invited the neighbouring countries to invest in multimillion-dollar CPEC, as it was a game-changer not only for Pakistan but for the entire region and was set to bring economic revolution.
In an interview with the official media, Yusuf hoped that dreams related to CPEC would come true and that the efforts to ensure implementation of CPEC projects had started resulting in a positive outcome.
“CPEC is not just the name of a road or railway system but a mega project. The Special Economic Zones (SEZs) under the CPEC would promote Pakistan’s industrialization and would help the country for attracting more investment,” he remarked.
He said the bilateral ties between Pakistan and China were gaining strength with each passing year. “China is a long-standing and deep friend to Pakistan and they have always supported us in every hour of need,” he mentioned.
Yususf said work on the CPEC projects was being expedited to ensure benefits to the people.
