Zardari vows to stand with Kashmiris
Islamabad: Former President of Pakistan and President Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians, Asif Ali Zardari on the occasion of Kashmir Black Day (October 27) reiterated his party’s support to Kashmiris and appealed to the United Nations to cooperate in resolving the issue.
He said that PPP was sincere about the fundamental rights of the people and wanted a peaceful and dignified solution to the Kashmir issue to be in line with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. Every year, Kashmiris condemn the Indian interference in Kashmir on the occasion of Black Day for their rights and reiterate their commitment to continue the peaceful struggle for their right of self-determination.
On this occasion, the PPP pays tremendous tribute and homage to all the brave Kashmiris who have made and are making unparalleled sacrifices. The Pakistan People’s Party supports the right of Kashmiris to self-determination in accordance with the UN Charter and will not allow this right to be suppressed and encroached upon in any way. The PPP will continue to support the struggle for the rights of Kashmiris and a peaceful and dignified solution to the Kashmir issue, Asif Ali Zardari said.
