Govt ridiculing National Assembly: Shazia Marri
Islamabad: Central Information Secretary Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians and the member of the National Assembly Shazia Atta Marri has said that ruling PTI’s government has dishonored and ridiculed the National Assembly because session of the National Assembly is going to be held tomorrow at 10.30 am but regrettably notification of the assembly session has issued at late evening.
She added that it was heard that the session of the National Assembly was being called Friday in the but the assembly members were not informed properly and timely which is highly condemable and regrettable act of this government.
Shazia Marri said that she learned through media reports about the convening of the National Assembly’s session to be held tomorrow in the morning. criticizing non seriousness of the government, she said that whenever government wants to convene or cancel the session of the National Assembly without adopting the procedure, it is highly condemnable act.
Marri said that the business of the National Assembly had never been handled like this in the history of the country. She said that these undemocratic people are imposed on the country and also given them the control of the National Assembly.
The house business Committee of the National Assembly has been made a joke and the notices should be issued about national assembly’s session before three days to the members of the National Assembly properly. She said that the members of the National Assembly have not yet been informed about the session personally and this is not a way to call the National Assembly’s session.
