Bilawal Bhutto meets PPP delegation
Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met a delegation of PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial leadership. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the delegation discussed the political situation and the issues of local body elections.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was briefed by the PPP KP leadership on the details of the public gatherings to be held on November 19 in Nowshera and November 30 in Peshawar. The administration has not given permission for the gathering in Peshawar. Obstacles are being raised regarding the public gathering in Nowshera.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is trying to block our Jalsa, said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He said that these jalsa will be held in Peshawar and Nowshera in any case. If ruling party Publlic gatherings can be held in KP, then why can’t PPP hold public gatherings, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari asked. If attempts were made to harass the people under the guise of banning rallies, then there will be Dama Dam Mast Qalandar, Chair PPP said. Chair PPP directed the leadership of PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to intensify the public contacts campaign with regard to local body elections.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was accompanied by Farhatullah Babar and Faisal Karim Kundi in the meeting held at Zardari House. The PPP KP delegation was comprised of Najamuddin Khan, Shuja Khan, Amjad Afridi, Syed Ayub Shah, Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha, Shoaib Ali Khan, Malik Tahmash Khan, Malik Saeed, Saleem Khan Chitrali, Syed Tahir Abbas, Sartaj Khan Douran, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Gohar Ali Inqalabi, Farzand Ali Wazir, Naeem Khan and Asma Arbab Alamgir.
