Modi plans to create an atmosphere of confrontation for WW-III: Rehman Malik
Islamabad: Former Interior Minister and Chairman Institute of Research and Reforms (IRR) Senator A. Rehman Malik has said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is planning to create an atmosphere of confrontation for WW-III in South Asia as he has already created various stimuli to facilitate those who are waiting for this great opportunity.
Rehman Malik was delivering an address at a Webinar on “Worsening Regional Security Situation; Threat of World War-III” today on Thursday that was organized by the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore. The webinar was attended by a large number of students of political science, international relations, and senior faculty members. He said that Pakistan has been facing numerous security threats both at national and international fronts since its independence. He said that Pakistan continuously remained under political turmoil because of political polarization and continued disruption in the democratic system and the distrust between communities and ill-governance brought certain irreversible losses. He said that in 1971, India created differences between East and West Pakistan, and a special intelligence operation was launched in East Pakistan from West through India. He said that MuktiBahini was fully supported by India that managed to create uncontrollable riots followed by army intervention and resultantly broke away East Pakistan.
He expressed that the security of Pakistan is still under threat because of fifth-generation warfare. He said that since PM Modi is a byproduct of hard-core militant organization RSS so his mindset is tuned to war and terror and we should not expect any move of peace from his side. He said that till Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister of India, peace between India and Pakistan and in the region is impossible. He said that Indian former PMs used to believe in the Cold War doctrine while PM Modi being exceptional has enhanced the 5th warfare generation. To promote his 5th generation warfare agenda, he has taken some adverse initiatives that have set the whole region of the volcano. He said his anti-Pakistan plans include abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A, violation of Indus Water Treaty, lodging a false complaint against Pakistan in FATF with the help USA and destabilization of Pakistan by planting seeds of ethnicism, sectarianism, and terrorism duly confessed by its spy agent Kulbhushan Yadav. He said that India has been spreading false propaganda against Pakistan to paint it as a terrorist state and PM Modi keeps trying to block the development in Pakistan to sabotage CPEC.
Rehman Malik said that world witnessed seeing WW-III in form of aggression in Russia resulting in the breaking of USSR and followed by war on terror and now we can see the present worst situation of Afghanistan. He said that we all know the takeover of Kabul by Afghan Taliban was against the wish of West and USA and the matter seems to be dragging without solution of recognition of Afghan new government. He said that India has no respect for the sovereignty and integrity of others and is bent on provoking all its neighbours simultaneously in a very non-diplomatic manner. He said that this is evident from the fact that India has escalated tensions against China and is gaining strength as part of international agenda to escalate tensions across the region. “A war like situation is developing in the region endangering the whole world”, he said.
The former Interior Minister said that Indian forces in Laddakh are standing face to face with China where small clashes have already taken place and Pakistan can’t stand fully rely on West or any other country. He urged that we need our own strategy to protect the country in a given situation however the government needs to finish the diplomatic isolation which has already damaged Kashmir’s cause. He said that if we didn’t formulate a strategy to protect ourselves and contribute to resolving hot issues around us that can ignite World War III.
He said that sadly UN is sleeping and is not paying attention to any issue including Kashmir and Palestine as it is a redundant organization serving only the ulterior motives of West and US.
At the end of the webinar, Rehman Malik answered the questions of students and he appreciated students, UMT faculty, and management for organizing a webinar on important contemporary affairs and issues.
