Govt’s deal with IMF should be brought in the parliament: Shazia Marri
Islamabad: Central Information Secretary Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) Shazia Atta Marri has said that ruling PTI’s Government should openly disclose the details of the International Monetary Fund deals in the National Assembly and parliament should also be taken into confidence in this regard.
She said that PM Imran Khan used to say during election campaigns that he would rather commit suicide whether to approach the IMF for loans, now Imran Khan should honour his words to commit suicide.
Shazia Marri said that Imran Khan didn’t commit suicide but has been squeezing 22 core people of the country by unprecedented inflation rate and bad economic policies.
She added that Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project was closed in the prejudice with Asif Ali Zardari resulted accute gas shortage being faced by the country.
She said that government’s decision of increasing prices of gas, petrol, electricity and food items has been proved anti-people decision and the gang of incompetence people have imposed on the country which has created havoc.
She said that if Imran Khan would not be ousted then it will be difficult to overcome on the destruction caused by his anti-people policies.
