Swift execution of CPEC projects will be ensured in Balochistan: Chief Minister Bizinjo
Quetta: Balochistan provincial Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has said that swift execution of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects will be ensured in Balochistan.
Chairing a high level meeting here to review the overall situation in the province, CM Bizinjo mentioned that the government considered CPEC of vital importance towards the prosperity of Balochistan.
He added that in addition to the CPEC, the implementation on South Balochistan Package – announced by the Pakistani federal government – will usher in a new era of development in Makran Division.
“Swift execution of CPEC projects will be ensured in Balochistan,” he was quoted as saying in an official statement. The CM contended that the government will remove all hurdles which can slow down the completion of the CPEC projects.
CM Bizenjo reminded that CPEC was a great opportunity for development and prosperity of Balochistan and it was attracting investment, trade and business for the whole country.
He underscored that the provincial government has taken several steps for the restoration of peace and security and to get maximum benefits from the mega development project in the better interest of the people.

CM Bizenjo predicted that due to the ongoing CPEC development projects and large international investments, poverty will be eradicated from the province and there will be an unusual improvement in the lives of the people. Senior government officials attended the meeting.
