Ambassador Andreas Ferrarese, Albana Ferrarese greet Christians on Christmas

Islamabad: Italy’s Ambassador to Pakistan Andreas Ferrarese and his wife Albana Ferrarese on Friday evening felicitated the Christian community in Pakistan, Italy and those living across the globe a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

“We wish everybody a Merry Christmas and happy New Year holidays! Let’s hope, this Christmas will bring love, health and joy to our families, and let there be peace, freedom and prosperity in Italy, Pakistan and around the world,” they said in a joint message.

Christmas, they added, was a time of celebration for the believers. Before the pandemic, it meant large droves of people going to church services for a Christmas Eve candlelight service—a truly beautiful event. But, they advised, this time around, the Christmas should be celebrated in accordance with the Covid SOPs.

Ambassador Andreas Ferrarese and Albana Ferrarese promised to do everything they could to further strengthen the Italy-Pakistan relationship.
