Senate chief, Balochistan Assembly Speaker discuss CPEC projects progress
Islamabad: Pakistani Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani and Balochistan Assembly Speaker Mir Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali have discussed the progress of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects in the province.
They also shared views on the overall political, economic, and overall situation of Balochistan. They also expressed satisfaction with the pace of work on the CPEC projects.
In his comments, Sanjrani said the CPEC was a game-changerfor the development and prosperity of the country and Gwadar Port will be at the center of future development in Balochistan province.
The development and prosperity of Balochistan province will ensure the economic stability of the country, he remarked, according an official statement.
He mentioned that the Senators belonging to Balochistan province were given full opportunity to represent the people of Balochistan in the upper house.
He stressed that public representatives can bring positive change in the lives of common people by utilizing their capabilities.
The Balochistan Assembly Speaker appreciated the efforts of the Chairman Senate for the development of Balochistan and the welfare of the people and his interest in the CPEC projects.
He contended that the commitment of the federal government in the ongoing development projects in Balochistan was commendable.
