Training Camp underway to select Pakistani players for Asian Games China

Islamabad: A Training Camp is underway in Islamabad for the selection of players for Asian Games China and South Asian Games.

There are 20 players taking part in the camp, Secretary Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) Sarwar Rana informed.

“We have invited some international teams to come to Pakistan for practice matches as well and we hope positive reply from them”, he added.

Last month PKF had held a meeting with Federal Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination Dr Fehmida Mirza in which she expressed her full support for the promotion of the game in the country.

The camp will continue till Asian Games China. Currently phase 1 is going on. In the second phase, team selection will be done and later Team Pakistan will fly to China for Asian Games in September.
