Kate and William’s parenting methods for George, the ‘future King’
London: The Cambridge children have had a significantly different childhood than past royal successors, according to Kate Middleton and Prince William’s parenting style.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are the three children of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Tiffany Norris, the founder of the UK’s first Mummy Concierge, discussed the royals’ interactions with their children with Express.co.uk.
Tiffany is a former member of the Royal Family’s staff. In the Cambridge home, she claims, there is a conversation sofa rather than a naughty step.
Tiffany said: “A naughty step can be seen as a punishment whereas a ‘chat sofa’ gives a child the chance to explain why they did what they did and to talk it through.
“Young children, in particular, are still learning about emotions and how to deal with them, so chatting to them about how they felt and why they felt like this (and what the consequences are can absolutely help a child understand why their behavior might have been wrong.”
