We find harmony with Maulana Fazl, says Khalid Maqbool
Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Tuesday said they found harmony with Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Chief Maulana Fazl ur Rehman and gave importance to his opinion.
“We will take all the decisions through deliberation,” Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said talking to media at MQM-P Bahadurabad headquarters. He was flanked by Maulana Fazl ur Rehman. “Our more than 100 workers are missing, while we are in the government,” he maintained.
The MQM-P leader said they should have been given a reason at least to stay in the government. They had a hope to reopen their offices, but it could not materialise, he said.
“For the last 15 years, we have not been pushed to the wall, rather we have been imprisoned in the wall,” he said.
Maulana Fazl said Imran Khan had been isolated. He said out of two options, one had been decided that MQM was not with the government. Now it might take a couple of days to the MQM to join the opposition, he said adding that the allies were no more with the government.
He said they were leaving the MQM headquarters with satisfaction. “We have full harmony with the MQM-P,” he said.
The Jamiat Ulema e Islam-F chief said success of the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan was confirm. They would enter Islamabad in the form of a convoy on March 25, he said.
Taking a dig at Imran Khan for giving his D-Chowk rally the title of Amar bil Maroof, he said the munkir (wicked) from head to toe was calling himself maroof (virtuous).
