Ambassador Andreas Ferrarese, Albana Ferrarse greet Pakistanis on Pakistan Day

Islamabad: Italy’s Ambassador to Pakistan Andreas Ferrarese and his wife Albana Ferrarse have greeted Pakistanis on Pakistan Day – celebrated on Wednesday.

In their joint message, they said March 23 is an important landmark in the history of the Pakistani.

They recalled it was on this day in 1940 when the historic Lahore Resolution was passed.

They said Pakistanis need to stand united to fight the Covid pandemic. They maintained doctors and health workers are the first line of defense in this crisis and nation salutes them for their unrelenting and selfless endeavors.

They said Italy and Pakistan have historic ties and will continue to strengthen the friendship.
