PTI, PML-Q meeting remains inconclusive
Lahore: The meeting between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman and Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood with the Chaudhry brothers of PML-Q on Saturday remained inconclusive.
The press conference that was scheduled to be held after the meeting was also cancelled due to a lack of significant progress between both parties.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Saturday arrived to meet the Chaudhry brothers to convey an important message of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak also accompanied the PTI vice-chairman.
As per sources, Shah Mahmood Qureshi urged the Chaudhry brothers to remain an ally of the government amid the no-confidence row.
It is worth noticing that PML-Q leaders maintained that they had always shared genuine advice, but the government failed in fulfilling its promises.
PML-Q sources quote that the leaders said the government was time and again warned, but nothing was heard.
