Pakistan to face severe gas crisis even in summer: Sherry Rehman
Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Vice-President Sherry Rehman on Tuesday said the international company had once again apologised from the supply of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) cargo.
Because of which, even in summer, there would be severe gas crisis in the country, she said. In a tweet, Sherry Rehman said the government had failed to provide gas to consumers and industries despite buying the most expensive LNG in Pakistan’s history. “LNG will be at the top of the list in corruption scandals of the government,” she added.
“As its end nears, the government is increasing the problems of the people and the country. Though the catastrophe government will not be there but the crisis created by them will definitely cause trouble for the nation,” she said.
The PPP leader said because of their mismanagement the gas crisis was going on in the country. “The incompetent government can neither supply gas in winter nor in summer,” she said.
