Nisar Khuhro accuses AG of supporting Imran Khan’s ‘coup’

Islamabad: President Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Sindh chapter Senator Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has said that supporting “Imran Khan’s coup” by Barrister Khalid Javed Khan, the Attorney General Pakistan, is highly regrettable.

In his statement, Senator Nisar Ahmed Khuhro said that despite having a pro-democracy family background, supporting the attack on the Constitution was an insult to the struggle of Barrister Khalid Javed Khan’s elders. “Khalid Javed Khan should have stood by the constitution instead of Imran Niazi’s unconstitutional steps”, he urged.

Senator Khuhro said that those who are supporting defrauding of peoples’ democratic rights by Imran Khan, must keep the desolation of the graves of Ayub Khan and Zia-ul-Haq in their mind.

He further said that in the ongoing fight for democracy, the people of Pakistan will be victorious eventually, adding that those who have attacked the constitution and supporting the aggressors would get nothing but disgrace.
