Bilawal Bhutto congratulates nation on victory of democracy

Islamabad: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Thursday has congratulated the country in the victory of democracy and the constitution. The selected has been defeated in the parliament and the court.

A precedent has been set by the judiciary that has protected the country’s democracy, institutions and constitution. This was the opportunity for all democratic institutions of the country. The stains left by the 2018 elections have been washed to a great extent.

Insha Allah, the process of the no-confidence will be completed and we will move towards free and fair elections. There is an English proverb, ‘First, they ignore you. Then, they mock you. Then, they fight you. Then, you win’.

Chairman Bilawal said that the aim of the PPP and united opposition has been successful. He said that ‘democracy is the best revenge’.

I want to call for all party workers and the public including all democratic people to celebrate the victory of democracy and end of the selected rule. In this blessed month of Ramazan, it is instructed to the party workers to hold Iftaaris on a district level and include the common public in the celebration of democracy.

As far as the foreign conspiracy is concerned, the PPP has combated and dismissed such allegations in every election. It will do the same now. This was a very important victory. We had never witnessed democratic means being used to oust a PM before.

Chairman Bilawal said that the decision is neither in favour of the opposition nor the government but the constitution. There have been a lot of controversial decisions in the history of Pakistan, but this decision will be written with golden words.
