Ambassador Andreas Ferrarese, Albana Ferrarese greet Christians on Easter, wish global peace
Islamabad: Ambassador of Italy Andreas Ferrarese and his wife Albana Ferrarese on Sunday greeted the Christians in Italy, Pakistan and around the world in an Easter message.
In a joint statement, they also wished peace around the world especially in Italy and Pakistan.
They said that in spite of the challenges confronting the country, the governments in Italy and Pakistan were working hard to restore the country back to the pre-Covid position.
They said Easter was the most important date on the Christian calendar. “It signifies the supreme sacrifice made for humanity by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,” the joint statement added.
The Ambassador and his wife stressed that while it was great to partake in Easter festivities, the public should not let their guard down on the threat posed by Covid-19.
